EOP APPLICANT CHECKLIST

Contact the Cayuga Community College Admissions Office to arrange a visit or attend an Open House.

Submit a SUNY EOP Financial Information Form to Cayuga Community College.

Apply for a Federal PIN at Federal Student Aid website.

Complete and submit a FAFSA (Federal PELL) application. Cayuga Community College’s federal school code is 002861 as soon as possible.

Submit your final high school and college transcripts to the Admissions Office by July 1.

Your prompt payment of the deposit will ensure financial aid decisions move quicker. Contact our Admissions Office if you have questions or concerns.

Complete and submit all required health forms and immunization records.

Complete and submit your student autobiography to the EOP Office by July 1.

Check your Cayuga email and myCayuga account for weekly updates.

Pay your Cayuga Community College student account bill by the due date (traditionally August 1).

Attend the mandatory EOP Summer Orientation Program.

Complete the Accuplacer placement test during EOP orientation if required. For more information about course placement, contact the Admissions Office by email at admissions@cayuga-cc.edu or call 1-866-598-8883.

Enroll full-time (12 –16 credit hours), including the EOP CAY101 course for the Fall semester.

Obtain your official class schedule.

Meet with your EOP Coach/Counselor to review and sign your EOP Contract before the EOP grant money is added to your financial aid award package.

IMPORTANT: EOP students become ineligible if they exit or switch from an Associate to any Certificate Program(s), or drop from full-time to part-time status without an EOP Counselor and Director approval.
