Before leaving campus graduates should make certain of the following:
- Business Office: All obligations, financial and otherwise, must be satisfied. Failure to satisfy all obligations will prohibit distribution of one’s diploma and official transcripts.
- Financial Aid: Any student transferring to another college who has a Cayuga student loan must contact the Financial Aid Office to clarify procedures and responsibilities regarding loan commitments.
- Library: All obligations, financial and otherwise, must be satisfied. Failure to satisfy all obligations will prohibit distribution of one’s diploma and official transcripts. Cayuga graduates may continue to use the library by changing library card status from student to alumni.
- Registrar’s Office: A correct address must be on file with the Registrar’s Office for diploma distribution.
Cayuga Community College is not responsible for the absence of names, dates, events; misprints; or misspellings in the Commencement information and program booklets. College staff members work diligently to see that all candidates and information are appropriately listed. Unfortunately, inadvertent errors/omissions sometimes occur. Students who do not fill out the form indicating their interest in participating in Commencement by Wednesday, March 15, 2017, may not be included in the Commencement program.
