Cayuga Community College uses Everbridge to deliver time-sensitive emergency notifications by text message and email.
WHO GETS ALERTS
Enrolled students and active employees are automatically enrolled through myCayuga. Family and community members may opt in through Cayuga’s public portal.
WHEN ALERTS ARE SENT
- Campus emergencies
- Unscheduled College closings
- Class delays
- Class cancellations
HOW ALERTS ARE DELIVERED
Alerts are sent by text message and email using the contact information in your myCayuga student portal account. Everbridge is not used for routine College communications.
KEEP YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION CURRENT
Students and employees: Review your cell phone number and email address in myCayuga. Everbridge uses the information maintained in myCayuga for your automatic enrollment.
Family and community members: Use the Cayuga Everbridge public portal. Select Sign Up if you do not already have an account.
