COURSE DESCRIPTION
THIS IS A HYBRID COURSE: A hybrid course is where some traditional face-to-face "seat time" has been replaced by online learning activities. The purpose of a hybrid course is to take advantage of the best features of both face-to-face and online learning.
Recommended background: MATH 104 or MATH 114 and high school physics. Continuation of PHYS 103. Course content includes Kirchhoff’s voltage and current rules; reactance and resonance; electromagnetism, Faraday’s Law, standing waves, the Doppler effect, reflection and refraction, mirror and lens ray diagrams, interference, diffraction and polarization.
