COURSE DESCRIPTION
Pre-requisite: BIOL 100, BIOL 101, or 103 or equivalent. This course provides a balanced introduction to basic microbiology (biochemistry, taxonomy, genetics, and cell biology), clinical microbiology (pathogenic bacteriology) and applied microbiology (food and industrial microbiology and ecological microbiology). Three class hours and three lab hours weekly.
