COURSE DESCRIPTION
Prerequisite: MATH 099 or placement in MATH 102. This course strengthens foundational mathematics skills with an emphasis on technical and engineering applications. Topics include linear equations and formulas; proportions and variation; measurement systems and unit conversions; exponents and polynomials; geometry; and coordinate systems. Practical applications include the use of technical formulas, measuring instruments, and CAD/CAM coordinates.
