COURSE DESCRIPTION
Prerequisite or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 101. This course introduces students to the history, topics, and methods of philosophy. Students will learn about the three distinct fields of philosophy (metaphysics, epistemology, and value theory) through historical and modern texts, and apply philosophical concepts and methods to contemporary problems.
