November 2016 Weekend Bus Trip to New York City

The Cayuga Community College Alumni Association is booking a weekend bus excursion to New York City on Saturday and Sunday, November 12 & 13, 2016.  The group will be staying at Hampton Inn, Manhattan/Times Square South; a prime location for participants to plan the activities of their choice. Cayuga Community College to Offer Tourism Management Certificate

Students are able to enroll immediately in this new one-year program for the fall semester which begins August 29, 2016. The certificate prepares students for entry-level careers in tour companies, tourism bureaus, destination marketing organizations, tourism promotion agencies, visitor centers, cruise lines, inns, and hotels. Cayuga Selected by U.S. Department of Education as Participant in New Dual Enrollment Pell Experiment

Cayuga Community College has been selected as an experimental site for the U.S. Department of Education’s Pell Experiment aimed at expanding access to college courses for high school students and increasing college graduation rates for at-risk students. Four graduates of Auburn/Cayuga Community College have been honored by the College’s Alumni Association at the College’s Commencement Ceremony on May 22. The 2016 Alumni Award recipients are John E. Cayuga Nursing Graduates Achieve 100 Percent Licensure Pass Rate

Cayuga Community College has announced the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX) score of its 2015 nursing class. The most recent graduates of the school’s two-year associate in applied science degree achieved a 100 percent pass rate. As Cayuga’s nursing graduates have consistently done, the 2015 class surpassed the state and national average pass rates by 20 and 15 points respectively.
