Cayuga CC Nursing Class of 2009 Makes Top 5 Statewide on RN Exam

The Cayuga Community College nursing class of 2009 ranks number five statewide in the percentage of graduates who passed the licensing exam to become registered nurses. Of the 33 Cayuga graduates who took the nationwide NCLEX-RN test, 32, or 97%, passed.

Event at Cayuga CC Library to Focus on African-American Poet

In honor of Black History Month, on Thursday, February 11, 2010, the Cayuga Community College Library will present a poetry reading and talk by Cayuga English professor Howard Nelson at 7:30 p.m. The one-hour presentation, "When Gwendolyn Brooks Came to Auburn," will explore the life and works of Gwendolyn Brooks, the first African-American winner of the Pulitzer Prize in Poetry.

Cayuga CC Alumni Association Offers Six Scholarships

Five scholarships to Cayuga Community College, and one to a transfer institution, are offered for the 2010–11 academic year by the college's Alumni Association. Applications must be received by March 31, 2010.

Kids Can Take the Driver's Seat at Cayuga CC Annual Family Fun Day

The 10th annual February Family Fun Day will be held at Cayuga Community College on Sunday, February 7, 2010, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Spartan Hall gym.

Cayuga CC to Hold Financial Aid Open House

Future college students can get free professional help with financial aid information, planning and application forms on Saturday morning, January 30, 2010, at the Auburn campus of Cayuga Community College. From 9:00 a.m. until noon, college staff will be on hand at the Financial Aid Open House to explain what resources are available, how to apply and how to maintain eligibility.

Cayuga CC Honors Mid-Year Grads
