WHERE IS THE CENTER FOR ACADEMIC SUCCESS LOCATED?

In Auburn the CAS is located in the Library building just down the hall from the Library entrance. In Fulton the CAS is in the Learning Commons.

ARE TUTORING SERVICES AVAILABLE FOR ONLINE STUDENTS?

Yes! If you are an online student, you can use NetTutor, which is an online service you access through your course in Blackboard.

If you can get to campus, all on-campus services are available to online students, too.

WHAT IS THE COST FOR TUTORING SERVICES?

ALL CAS services are free!

DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT FOR TUTORING?

Students can drop-in to the Math and Writing Tables for peer tutoring without an appointment (see Table Schedules for hours). Appointments are needed to meet with the Math and Writing Specialists and can be made by stopping by or calling

IF I NEED TO TAKE A TEST IN THE CAS, WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Students must have a photo ID to take a test in the CAS.

DOES THE CAS HAVE TEXTBOOKS FOR STUDENTS TO BORROW?

The CAS offers a textbook loan service to students. Students may use textbooks in the CAS and need to leave your ID with us to do so. We cannot guarantee that we will have all textbooks or that your book will be available.

WHEN CAN I USE CAS COMPUTERS AND PRINTERS?

CAS computers and printers are available during all open CAS hours.
