Scholarships and Grants-In-Aid

The Cayuga County Community College Foundation receives and administers all private gifts intended for the College, its programs, and its students. Since our incorporation in 1982, we have received generous gifts from alumni, parents, faculty, staff, businesses, other foundations, board members, trustees, organizations and members of the community. Because the College cannot provide support to students through the income we derive for operations from Cayuga County, New York State, and students' tuition, these gifts often provide the financial assistance Cayuga students need to realize their educational goals.

Through sound investment policies and the generosity of Cayuga Community College friends, nearly 350 awards are presented to deserving students each year. We proudly report that more than $280,000 will be distributed in 2006/2007 to students based on academic ability and/or financial need.

These web pages describes these awards in detail and in several formats. An asterisk (*) indicates that a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be completed and be on file in the College's financial aid office.

If you have any questions about the scholarship program or other activities of The Cayuga County Community College Foundation, Inc., please call us at (315) 255-1743 extension 2328 or stop by our office. The Foundation office is located in the President's Suite of the College's main building.
