The “Presidential Scholars Transfer Program” will provide guaranteed admission and continued financial assistance to any Cayuga Presidential Scholarship recipient who wishes to attend nearby Wells College.
Cayuga President Brian Durant and Wells College President Jonathan Gibralter have signed a formal agreement that will allow Cayuga Presidential Scholars to be guaranteed admission to Wells College and to receive a President’s Award at Wells worth a minimum of $22,000 annually for up to four years.

Cayuga Community College officials are pleased to announce that the ribbon cutting for the Occupational Therapy Assistants Lab (OTA) on the Fulton campus located at 11 River Glen Drive in Fulton, NY has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. The ceremony will take place right outside the OTA Lab for the ribbon cutting, followed by a tour of the facility. A reception in the new OTA Lab will follow.

The Spartan men’s soccer continued their winning ways with a compelling 3-0 win against an undefeated Broome CC team who is ranked #2 team in Region III. Goals came from Mikel Abando (Bilbao, Spain), Alejandro Blazquez (Madrid, Spain), and Grant Stamp (Swansea, Wales). Blasquez also had two assists, and Stamp added one assist to his name. Goalkeeper Konrad Pawlowski (Humble, TX) made some key saves behind the strong Spartan defensive unit.

Cross-Country has returned to Cayuga after a 20-year hiatus, and newly appointed head coach Toni Giannettino is excited and honored to be working with both the men's and women's team this year. We are starting out the season with four men and three women, all incoming freshmen. To enhance the current portfolio of degree programs that can be completed entirely online, Cayuga Community College now offers a new Event & Tourism Management A.A.S. degree starting in Fall 2017. This program prepares students for entry-level careers in convention centers, destination marketing organizations (DMO)/tourism promotion agencies (TPA), visitor centers, cruise lines, inns, non-profit organizations, and hotels. Possible careers include event coordinator, conference planner, destination marketing specialist, tour operator, travel promoter, travel guide, and visitor center coordinator.

In two free public information sessions, Cayuga Community College is giving families an opportunity to learn more about New York State’s first-in-the-nation program that will grant free SUNY tuition to qualified students. The Excelsior Scholarship will be phased in by New York State over the next three years and will be available this fall for households making up to $100,000 annually; up to $110,000 in 2018, and up to $125,000 in 2019 and beyond.
