WHAT IS PROGRAM EVALUATION?
All OTA programs are responsible to assess specific measures of success and to make them available to the public. Program evaluation provides OTA faculty with objective data pertaining to the strengths and weaknesses of the program. Decisions that guide the improvement of the program are based on program evaluation data.

The total number of graduates from the OTA program of Cayuga Community College in 2020 was 8, an overall graduation rate of 80%.

NBCOT examination results:
The National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy produces the national examinations that assess the entry-level knowledge and skills of OTA graduates. In order to obtain state licensure to practice as an OTA, the graduate must pass the national exam. In general, pass rates on the NBCOT exam correlate with the quality of the student’s education. Data presented to specify the number of students who passed the NBCOT exam within 12 months of graduating from Cayuga’s OTA program.
