Veteran’s Benefits

Information for Students Receiving the Montgomery GI Bill

You must apply for education benefits at your local VA office at the same time you are applying for admission to Cayuga. VA Counselors will advise you of your eligibility. If approved, you need to complete an application for benefits.

Enrollment Certification is certified and sent by the Registrar’s Office once you are registered for classes.

To receive credit for Physical Education or other military education experiences, a copy of the DD214 must be on file at the College.

A tuition deferral is available if you are receiving benefits. You may be required to file for financial aid.

Changes in enrollment are reported to the VA office in Buffalo by the Registrar's Office (credits, curriculum, transfer credit, dual degrees, withdrawals).

Verification of monthly class attendance is required. Please fill out the Veteran’s Monthly Attendance Verification Form (69 kb PDF file). (To view this file, you will need Adobe Reader , a free download.)
