Homework
A homework quiz will be given every week on the material from the previous three classes. I will randomly choose one problem from each section and ask you to copy over your work in 5 minutes. If your homework is completed on time, this is an easy 10% of your grade. The quiz will be given in the beginning of the class, so don’t be late! The lowest homework quiz will be dropped. |
Testing Policy |
If you have to miss a test, you must let me know in advance. The excuse must be valid (death in the family, sick, etc.). If the excuse is not valid or you fail to let me know in advance, it is an automatic deduction of a letter grade. |
Quiz Policy |
If you miss a quiz, you must make up the quiz before the next class. Otherwise you will receive a 0 for that quiz. The lowest quiz grade will be dropped. |
Attendance Policy: |
The college attendance policy must be followed. You are allowed to miss 9 MWF classes and 6 TTH classes. If you miss more than the allowed number of classes, you will be withdrawn from class. There are NO EXCUSED ABSENCES under this policy. This policy accommodates sufficient absences for participation in field trips, athletic trips, illness, court appearances and personal reasons. You are responsible for any material that you miss. |
