DATE: 02-04-2003

Graduates of Cayuga Community College who have distinguished themselves in careers, community service, or both, will be among those recognized at the college's commencement this spring.

The Auburn/Cayuga Community College Alumni Association is seeking nominations for its 2003 Alumni Association Awards. The awards recognize Cayuga graduates with outstanding achievements in vocational or artistic pursuits, volunteer service, public service organizations, civic functions, or service to the College, its Foundation, or its Alumni Association. Also eligible are nominees who have contributed in other ways to better relations among alumni, the college community, and the community at large.

Any graduate of a degree or certificate program of Auburn/Cayuga Community College may be nominated for the award. Nomination forms and further information are available from the college's alumni affairs director, Elisabeth Hurley, at 315-255-1743, extension 2224. Completed nomination forms must be submitted by Monday, March 31, 2003.

Winners will be selected by the association's awards committee upon review of nominations, and will be given individual plaques on Sunday, May 18, the College's commencement day. Each recipient will also be listed on the perpetual plaque in the college's Alumni Court inside the Auburn campus main entrance.
