The Auburn/Cayuga Community College Alumni Association has awarded seven scholarships to new, continuing, nontraditional age, and transferring Cayuga students for the 2010-11 academic year. Recipients are:
- Incoming freshmen: Meghan McCann, Fulton High School '10; Michael Westmiller, Auburn High School '10
- Continuing student: Alyssa Tardiff, Skaneateles
- Nontraditional-age student: Margaret Murray, Auburn
- Transferring graduates: Mark Brooks, Auburn, transferring to Empire State College; Jennaca Longley, Sterling, transferring to Rochester Institute of Technology; Kelly Schafer, Auburn, transferring to SUNY Geneseo/Oswego or Syracuse University
Candidates are judged on application essays and scholastic merit; freshman awards are reserved for children or grandchildren of Cayuga alumni.
