New myCayuga Will Deliver Personalized Info

Students, faculty and staff know Banner as the go-to place for self-service Cayuga information online. You've learned to use Banner for course registration, checking grades, finding your financial aid award, and many other tasks. Now, Cayuga Community College is kicking online info up a notch, with myCayuga.

If you study or work at Cayuga, you already have a self-service Banner username and PIN. Those will become your login to myCayuga, where you'll see a unique homepage dedicated to you. There, you can receive personalized messages from instructors and college offices - maybe a class assignment, perhaps a deadline to turn in a form. Click on the Library tab to access a wealth of resources for research and term papers. You can plug in selected news feeds, such as Spartan athletics or ESPN. As myCayuga expands its scope, you'll be able to join online groups for clubs, class projects and study sessions. Quickest way to check for class cancellations or weather-related closings? Set to go live after spring break, myCayuga will feature tabs for all viewers and for your specific role, whether Student, Employee or Faculty. Click around to get acquainted, and check back often for new features and links. In the weeks to come, you'll discover more options to tailor myCayuga to your needs and interests.

Of course, plain-vanilla Banner will still be available. Simply log in to myCayuga (using your usual Banner login) and click on the Banner link. But don't stop there. Kick it up a notch - and make myCayuga your own.
