The Cayuga Community College Library acquires and maintains print and media materials for several special resource collections. The Auburn and Fulton campuses maintain separate special collections. Patrons may search CAYLIB, the library catalog , by collection code to see all items contained in most of these special collections.
Cayuga Community College Archives
Materials documenting the history of the College, including reports, papers, and monographs produced by college offices and employees. Items in the Archives collection may be viewed by appointment only and may not leave the library. (Auburn only; print index.)
Materials on career exploration and job-seeking, as well as résumé writing and interviewing. Most items may be signed out. (Auburn collection code CRBKS; Fulton collection code FLCAR.)
Contemporary and classic children’s literature. Materials are selected to support the college’s Early Childhood program and children’s literature courses. In Auburn, the juvenile literature collection is housed in the children’s room. At Fulton, the juvenile collection is located with other special collections. Although children are welcome to use this collection, College policy states that all children must be closely supervised by a parent or legal guardian while in the library.
