Purpose How and When Issued Username/Password Help

Your web-based gateway to electronic resources at Cayuga Community College.

MyCayuga offers self-service, online access to your personal employee and/or academic information. It allows you to view and in some cases update position info, contact info, leave reports and more. Faculty will submit grades and can view student and class info here.

You can access your myCayuga account 24/7 online at https://my.cayuga-cc.edu

Upon date of hire.

Assistance with initial login procedures should be directed to Denise Guzewicz in Human Resources at (315) 255-1743 x2256 Monday-Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.

For assistance with subsequent logins, please e-mail our Help Desk or call us at (315) 255-1743, x 2268.

If you have forgotten your password, you can always enter your Cayuga username, Social Security Number or C-Number and then click the I FORGOT MY PASSWORD link on the myCayuga login page.

This will prompt you to answer a security question that you had previously established. You will be able to proceed from there.

Angel
Purpose How and When Issued Username/Password Help
Cayuga's online learning management system. Once your schedule is assigned, your ANGEL password is generated. Contact Ed Kowalski at (315) 255-1743 x2498 who will assist you with your password information. Call the SLN Helpdesk at 1-800-875-6269.
EZProxy
Purpose How and When Issued Username/Password Help
Allows off-campus access to the library's subscription databases. Employees can go to the campus libraries and get their library card with the coordinating information necessary to access their new account. Those that cannot physically access the campus can apply online for a library card. Call the CCC Library at (315) 255-1743, x2296.
Voice Mail

Setting Voicemail Password

Dial 2448 to access voicemail:

  1. Enter your extension number XXXX then press #
  2. Enter 2468 as your password then press #
  3. Create and enter a new 5 digit password then press #
  4. Enter your new password again then press #
  5. You are ready to go!

Once you are in voicemail you can change your greeting by pressing 3.

Password Requirements

  • Cannot contain significant portions of your user name, first name, or last name
  • You cannot repeat any of your past 24 passwords
  • At least 7 characters long
  • Must contain characters from at least three of the following four categories:
    • Upper case letters (A through Z)
    • Lower case letters (a through z)
    • Digits (0 through 9)
    • Non-alphabetic characters (for example: !, $, #, %)

 

To change your password from a College Computer

  1. Log onto a College computer using your account.
  2. Hold down both the CTRL and ALT keys, and tap the DELETE key. The Windows Security Dialog box will appear.
  3. Click the Change Password button in the lower left corner of the Windows Security dialog box.
  4. Type in your old password, hit TAB.
  5. Type in your new password that meets the requirements, hit TAB.
  6. Type your new password again.
  7. Click the OK button to change the password.
  8. Click OK on the password changed dialog box.
  9. Click Cancel on the Windows Security dialog box.

 

To change your password from Outlook Web Access (OWA)

Log onto Outlook Web Access (OWA):
http://www.cayuga-cc.edu/exchange

  1. Click Options near the upper right corner of the OWA screen.
  2. Choose Change Password from the list of actions on the left side of the screen.
  3. Type in your old password in the old password text box, hit TAB.
  4. Type in your new password that meets the requirements, hit TAB.
  5. Type your new password again.
  6. Click Save near the upper left corner of the OWA screen.
