After a long period between games, the Lady Spartans came out flat at home against the Cannoneers. Jefferson jumped out to a quick lead and poured it on for the entire first half. Cayuga tried to stop the bleeding but too many turnovers only made things worse and the first half score was 15 to 1 in favor of the visitors. The Spartans regrouped during half time and got their offense going scoring 4 more goals but the lead was too much to overcome. Alisha Brooks continued her scoring ways with 3 goals and both Ashley Simmons and Arielle LeBlanc contributed with a goal. Gabe Palmieri played well in goal with 22 saves in the loss.

Unfortunately, the defense could not sustain their opening pressure and the Lazers took the lead. Cayuga tried to jump start their offense but could not find their rhythm against a very tough Lazer defense. The Spartans played hard for the entire game but only Laura Iwanicki found the net.
