Join the many satisfied adult learners who pick up the pace to achieve their educational and career goals by attending Cayuga Community College on Sundays.
Sundays offer many pathways to opportunity. Come to campus just one day a week for a single class to update your knowledge and skills, or to matriculate part- or full-time toward an associate’s degree.
Sunday classes are available on both Fulton and Auburn campuses during fall and spring semesters. A menu of courses is offered in each of three time-blocks (10:00, 1:00 and 4:00) and through a variety of delivery formats (full-semester, accelerated and hybrids); enabling students to register for up to 18 credits per semester yet come to campus one day only.
- Full-semester classes meet once a week across the full fall or spring semester
- Accelerated classes compress course content into an 8-week timeframe called a session. Two accelerated sessions are offered each fall and spring semester.
- Hybrid classes meet on campus across a full semester, some weeks in the classroom setting and other weeks through online instruction.
Current Degree Programs
Currently, the following degree programs can be completed entirely through Sunday study:
Students in other programs can register for any Sunday courses that meet their degree requirements.
Sunday students can meet many prerequisite requirements for transfer to Bachelor or Masters degrees offered on campus by partnering upper division colleges through Cayuga’s University Center.
Sunday Students Say...
“I just can’t thank you enough for even starting the Sunday program which got me interested in the first place. It took me 24 years to return to school and I was able to complete my degree requirements in less than 2 years, while working a full-time and a part-time job, as well as raising 5 children as a single mom. You have no idea how grateful I am for this Accelerated program on Sundays.”
– Colleen Jackson
“Sunday courses enabled me to work full-time and take care of my family while earning an associate’s degree. I highly recommend the Sunday program to anyone who wants to complete their degree, especially those with a job and family.”
– Amanda Matteson
