You can transfer up to 60 credits to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and become certified in Childhood and Special Education. Taking two courses at a time, you will gain both marketable skills in human services, as well as prepare yourself for the expected growth in teaching opportunities. All classes will be offered by Lemoyne professors at the Cayuga campus in Auburn. The busy adult student will enjoy the convenience of attending Sundays during the school year, and at night in the summer.
Students pay the special part time tuition rate for nine of their ten semesters. They will benefit from the close collaboration between Cayuga and Le Moyne, with student service support from both institutions. Le Moyne’s emphasis on the liberal arts ensures that its graduates will succeed with the teamwork and work ethic that an employer is seeking. This curriculum provides a solid foundation for future educators and human service workers.
